<p><strong>1. Quick change of exploded views</strong><br/>Below the exploded drawing, a slider is now integrated to enable quick change of parts lists. Scrolling is possible within a main group and changes not only the drawings but also the subgroups. You can click on the corresponding image in the slider or use the arrow symbols within the exploded view. It is also possible to operate this function with the arrow keys of your keyboard.<br/><br/><strong>2. Jump from the trolley to the parts list</strong><br/>Clicking on the underlined part name will take you back to the parts catalogue. The parts list and the exploded view from which you added the part to the trolley will be displayed.<br/>For parts that are transported by other means, e.g. the search function has been added, no redirect can be provided.<br/><br/><strong>3. Subgroup selection with image preview</strong><br/>To make it easier to find the parts, we now display the exploded views in the subgroup selection. This display is available both in the type entry and in the vehicle-specific parts catalogue.<br/><br/><strong>4. Filter settings in the catalogue</strong><br/>With the help of the filter options, the parts list is adapted according to the vehicle characteristics. By removing these filters, it is also possible to display parts that were not installed in the vehicle you entered. This means that alternative parts can also be found. By default, this filter is enabled to ensure clarity of parts lists.<br/><br/><strong>5. Highlighting the current navigation selection</strong><br/>The selected category, major, and subgroup are highlighted in the dropdown of the parts list page and displayed in the centre of the list for a better overview of the current selection.<br/><br/><strong>6. Checkboxes in the trolley</strong><br/>In the trolley, checkboxes are now inserted on all levels. With the help of these checkboxes, entire shopping carts can be selected or deselected. Only selected items will be considered at checkout.<br/>If there are both selected and deselected items in a trolley, this is indicated by a &quot;-&quot; in the higher-level checkbox.<br/><br/><strong>7. Sales order number in the order overview</strong><br/>In the order history, you can now display the order number you entered at checkout as an alternative to the number assigned by the system. All you have to do is click on the change icon in the header next to &quot;Order number&quot;.<br/><br/><strong>8. Delivery and pick-up time window (ETA)</strong><br/>Delivery and pick-up time slots are displayed at checkout. Based on the availability of the ordered parts, you will be informed about the time it takes to receive the goods.<br/>The prerequisite for this is that your dealer has provided this data.</p>

<h4><strong>In comparison: spark plugs from seven manufacturers</strong></h4>
<p>Mercedes‑Benz genuine spark plugs are optimally tuned to the respective engine of a Mercedes‑Benz. In this way, they ensure high levels of performance as well as lowfuel consumption. In order to test their product quality, they were pitted against six comparable competitor products. Test institutes such as <strong>NGK Spark Plug GmbH</strong> (now Nitera GmbH), <strong>Fraunhofer IWS</strong> and <strong>Aspect Quality GmbH</strong> were involved.<br/><br/><strong>Example salt spray test:</strong> Here, the influence of water spray or saltcontained in the air were simulated. Even after 100 hours of testing, Mercedes‑Benzgenuine spark plugs exhibited no signs of red rust. <p>Since the end of January 2023, your independent workshop has been benefiting from the latest developments in Mercedes-Benz B2B Connect – from even smarter navigation to the restructured overview of customer vehicles and the independent detail page for each vehicle.<br/><br/><strong>From now on, you can benefit from many more innovations in the portal:</strong></p>

<li data-type="DISC"><section><p><strong>Smart navigation via sidebar &amp; toolbar:</strong> via our new sidebar on the left, you can easily switch to the account area or back and forth between relevant work steps of the currently selected customer vehicle as required. In addition, a toolbar gives you access to important functions at any time, including access to your vehicles list from any page.</p></section></li>
<li data-type="DISC"><section><p><strong>Faster access to the information you need when working on the vehicle:</strong> Search several applications simultaneously for vehicle-specific information, e.g. XENTRY WIS, XOT and Parts Information. This means: <strong>the customer vehicle will move even more into the centre</strong> – for 100% focus on the current task. In future, you will be able to conveniently call up and directly use all information, functions and work from the vehicle.</p>

Mercedes-Benz B2B Connect gets even smarter

<p>As of <strong>December 5, 2022</strong>, Damage Code will be another powerful module within <strong>XENTRY Operation Time</strong>. This is part of the XENTRY Operation Time product - no separate costs are incurred.<br/><br/>With Damage Code, image-based damage key determination will be available via a stand-alone application integrated into the XENTRY Parts Information and XENTRY Operation Time applications. The Damage Code is required in the day-to-day work of the factory for warranty and goodwill claims. See for yourself.</p>

<p><strong>• Automatic indication of availability of dynamic wiring diagrams<br/></strong>If there are dynamic wiring diagrams for a vehicle, they must be used as they provide the latest content for working on the vehicle. This can be recognized by the fact that the DWD icon for Dynamic Wiring Diagram is active in the left function bar. In this case, the static wiring diagrams of info type pe may no longer be used.<br/><br/>To indicate this, the following message is displayed as soon as a WIS document search is started that contains the info type pe as search criterion:<br/><br/><img src="https://b2bcfrontdoor.azurefd.net/prod/media/n2oim4ht/bildschirmfoto-2022-06-28-um-11-08-08.png" alt="" width="500" height="129.3478260869565"/><br/><br/><strong>• Deactivation/activation of synonym search in the advanced full-text search, in the advanced document title search and in the notification window for a high number of hits:</strong><br/>- If the hit list is too large for a full-text search in documents or document titles, you can jump directly from the search to the user settings to deactivate the synonym search<br/>- If the search word was not found during a full-text search in documents or document titles or the number of hits is too small, you can jump directly from the search to the user settings to activate the synonym search<br/><br/><strong>• Note on a more recent document version in another language:</strong><br/>If a displayed document is available in another language in a more recent version, an orange button is displayed at the top right with which the latest document can be displayed. XENTRY WIS and XENTRY Operation Time now available for independent workshops

<p>Since October 2021, the new module &quot;Dynamic Wiring Diagram&quot; is available to every WIS user in B2B Connect. Due to the VIN-specific display of &quot;Dynamic Wiring Diagram&quot;, the user is only shown the wiring diagram that is relevant for his vehicle. A time-consuming search for the vehicle equipment and system jumps are no longer necessary. This, together with other search and filter functions, helps the user and contributes significantly to reducing possible search errors in the repair and diagnosis process. Further information on components, for example, can also be displayed with just one click. &quot;Dynamic Wiring Diagram&quot; is linked to the right WIS; a separate order is therefore not necessary. Please note that from the end of 2021 wiring diagrams for new start-ups and model maintenance will only be available in the &quot;Dynamic Wiring Diagram&quot; module. Therefore, you should preferably use this module for schematic research.</p>

The new module DWD is now available to all WIS users.
