What is the XENTRY Combo Package?

With XENTRY Combo Package, independent workshops are enabled to purchase packages in the sizes of 1, 5, or 10 credits: after activating the XENTRY combination package for a FIN/VIN of their choice, users get 24-hour access to XENTRY WIS, XENTRY Operation Time, and XENTRY Tips. They are enabled to access and use the VIN-specific content within these software applications. This represents an alternative to the time slice model for RMI, where independent workshops can purchase individual product accesses for 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, or 1 year.

What is a VIN?

A VIN, or Vehicle Identification Number, is a unique code assigned to every motor vehicle when it is manufactured helping to uniquely identify each motor vehicle.

What products are included in the XENTRY Combo Package?

The XENTRY Combo Package provides users with a 24-hour access to XENTRY WIS, XENTRY Operation Time, and XENTRY Tips. Other software applications like XENTRY Parts Information, XENTRY Pass Thru EU, XENTRY Diagnosis Lite, etc. are not included and must be purchased individually.

Which VINs can the XENTRY Combo Package be used for?

The XENTRY Combo Package can be used for VINs of all vehicle divisions (i.e. Passenger Cars, Vans, and smart).

What happens to unused credits?

Unused credits will automatically expire one year after purchase. The number of credits that will expire (incl. expiration date) are shown in the “Products” tab within the “Account” section. Please note that unused credits can’t be refunded or transferred.

What is the difference between the credits of the XENTRY Combo Package and time slices for repair and maintenance information (RMI)?

The key difference between the XENTRY Combo Package and RMI time slices for individual software applications is that XENTRY Combo Package provides users only access to repair and maintenance information for the VIN that has been activated: hence, the VIN can’t be changed within the included applications. On the other hand, purchasing RMI time slices for individual software applications (e.g., 1 week of XENTRY WIS) provides users access to all repair and maintenance information included in the application, irrespective of the VINs that will be used during the purchased period of time. Also, the XENTRY Combo Package offers an all-in-one access to XENTRY WIS, XENTRY Operation Time, and XENTRY Tips so that the software applications must not be purchased individually. This makes the XENTRY Combo Package a cost-effective alternative to purchasing individual time slices of all three XENTRY products (savings depend on the scope and period of use).

In which markets is the XENTRY Combo Package available?

The XENTRY Combo Package is currently only available for users based in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Northern Ireland.

Does the XENTRY Combo Package substitute the time slices for repair and maintenance information (RMI)?

No, the time slices for XENTRY WIS, XENTRY Operation Time, and XENTRY Tips will still be offered.
